Key Responsibilities:
- Requirements Engineering: Conduct in-depth interviews and workshops with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, document, and validate business requirements for complex software projects.
- Documentation: Create comprehensive business requirement documents (BRD), user stories, process flows, and functional specifications to guide development teams.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as the bridge between business units and IT teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
- Data Analysis: Utilize SQL and data visualization tools to identify trends, assess process gaps, and recommend data-driven improvements.
- Process Optimization: Analyze current business processes and propose innovative solutions to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve user experience.
- Agile Leadership: Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups to maintain project momentum.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 4-6 years of experience as a Business Analyst in the software industry.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in SQL (querying and data extraction) and experience with data modeling tools.
- Methodology: Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and Waterfall project management.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Tools: Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Visio, or similar documentation tools.
