In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather, analyze, and document requirements, ensuring our software solutions align perfectly with business goals. You will act as a key liaison between stakeholders, developers, and project managers to ensure successful project delivery.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders to define clear business objectives and scope.
- Analyze complex business processes, workflows, and data flows to identify areas for optimization and automation.
- Create detailed functional requirements, user stories, use cases, and process maps using tools like Visio or Lucidchart.
- Collaborate with technical teams (developers, QA) to ensure accurate implementation of business requirements.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and propose mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.
- Facilitate Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Train end-users on new systems and provide ongoing support documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience as a Business Analyst in a corporate environment.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and Waterfall project management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate technical jargon for non-technical audiences.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of data modeling and database structures is a plus.
