As a Business Analyst on our weekend shift, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing our business processes and ensuring data integrity during critical operations. You will have the autonomy to drive projects forward, backed by a collaborative culture that values innovation and precision.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and translate them into clear functional requirements and technical specifications.
- Analyze complex data sets and legacy processes to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for significant process improvement.
- Develop comprehensive documentation, including Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), Use Cases, and process flow diagrams.
- Conduct detailed requirements gathering sessions and workshops with stakeholders to validate assumptions and ensure alignment.
- Partner with IT and development teams to ensure seamless implementation of business solutions and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare weekly reporting on project progress and operational health.
- Act as the primary point of contact for weekend operations, resolving discrepancies and facilitating communication between departments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience as a Business Analyst in a corporate or technical environment.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Advanced Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables), and visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
- Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall project management methodologies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and autonomously during the weekend shift.
- Experience with JIRA or similar project management and tracking software is highly desirable.
