Responsibilities
- Requirements Gathering: Conduct interviews and workshops with stakeholders to elicit detailed business requirements and translate them into clear functional specifications.
- Data Analysis: Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Specification Documents (FSD), and User Stories.
- Process Modeling: Develop process maps and flowcharts using tools like Visio or Lucidchart to visualize current and future state processes.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact between business units and IT development teams to ensure alignment and successful project delivery.
- Testing & QA: Collaborate with QA teams to define test scenarios and validate solutions against business requirements.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within the healthcare, finance, or retail sectors.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP), and data visualization tools (Tableau or Power BI) is highly preferred.
- Tools: Experience with requirements management tools (JIRA, Confluence) and process modeling software.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekend shifts, including occasional holidays, as per business needs.
