Responsibilities
- Requirements Gathering: Conduct interviews and workshops with stakeholders to identify business needs, goals, and processes for weekend operations.
- Process Modeling: Create detailed process maps, flowcharts, and use case diagrams to visualize current and future state workflows.
- Data Analysis: Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for process optimization.
- Documentation: Write clear and concise business requirements documents (BRDs) and technical specifications for development teams.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary point of contact between technical teams and non-technical business units, ensuring alignment on project goals.
- Testing & QA: Design test scenarios and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) plans to validate solutions before go-live.
- Reporting: Generate weekly and monthly performance reports to track project progress and business metrics.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in the Information Technology or Financial Services sector.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field. Proven experience may substitute for a degree.
- Tools: Proficiency in data analysis tools (SQL, Excel, Tableau, or Power BI) and process modeling tools (Visio, Lucidchart).
- Shift Availability: Must be available to work weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday) on a rotating schedule.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate technical jargon into business language.
- Methodology: Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle).
