The Role
As a Business Analyst, you will bridge the gap between IT and business operations. You will identify opportunities for improvement, gather requirements, and drive projects to successful completion.
Responsibilities
- Requirements Gathering: Conduct interviews and workshops with stakeholders to define business requirements and document them clearly in functional specifications.
- Process Analysis: Analyze current business processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies and recommend solutions.
- Data Analysis: Utilize data tools to interpret complex datasets and provide actionable insights to support decision-making.
- Documentation: Create detailed user stories, process maps, and wireframes using tools like Visio or Lucidchart.
- Project Support: Collaborate with the development team to ensure technical solutions align with business needs.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Microsoft Excel (Advanced), and at least one data visualization tool (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on detail.
