Responsibilities
- Requirements Gathering: Conduct interviews and workshops with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, document, and validate business requirements.
- Process Analysis: Map current business processes and design future state workflows using UML, BPMN, or flowcharts to identify inefficiencies.
- Data Analysis: Analyze complex data sets to identify trends, opportunities for cost reduction, and revenue growth.
- Documentation: Create comprehensive business requirement documents (BRDs), technical specifications, and user stories.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact for cross-functional teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project goals.
- Reporting: Develop and present regular progress reports to management regarding project status, risks, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in a corporate environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables), and at least one project management tool (JIRA, Confluence, or Trello).
- Soft Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate technical jargon into business value.
- Analytical Mindset: Strong problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail.
- Location: Must be willing to work on-site in Los Angeles, California.
