Role Overview:
The Business Analyst will serve as the bridge between business operations and IT solutions. You will be responsible for gathering requirements, analyzing complex data sets, and providing actionable insights to optimize our supply chain and business processes.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to identify, document, and analyze business requirements for new software and process improvements.
- Conduct gap analyses to determine the current state of processes versus the desired future state.
- Create detailed process maps, flowcharts, and wireframes to communicate complex business logic to technical and non-technical teams.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and generate comprehensive weekly reports to track project progress and operational efficiency.
- Partner with the IT department to ensure the successful implementation and testing of business solutions.
- Perform root cause analysis on operational issues to recommend sustainable fixes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar analytical role within the logistics, supply chain, or finance sectors.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Excel (advanced functions, Pivot Tables), and Tableau or Power BI.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret large datasets and translate them into clear business strategies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present technical data to senior leadership.
- Experience with project management methodologies (Agile/Scrum) is a plus.
