Responsibilities
- Requirements Gathering: Conduct in-depth interviews and workshops with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, document, and validate business requirements.
- Data Analysis: Collect, analyze, and interpret complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Documentation: Create clear, concise, and user-friendly requirements specifications, use cases, and functional requirements documents.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as the liaison between business units, technical teams, and vendors to ensure mutual understanding of project goals.
- Process Mapping: Develop and maintain detailed process maps and flowcharts to visualize business workflows and system interactions.
- Testing Support: Collaborate with QA and development teams to create test plans, define acceptance criteria, and validate solutions.
- Project Tracking: Monitor project milestones and ensure deliverables are met on time and within budget.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL for data querying and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Soft Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot complex business issues.
- Methodology: Experience working within Agile/Scrum or Waterfall methodologies is highly preferred.
- Location: Must be willing to work on-site or hybrid from El Paso, TX.
