Responsibilities
- Requirements Gathering: Conduct interviews and workshops with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, document, and validate business requirements.
- Process Improvement: Analyze current business processes and identify areas for optimization, cost reduction, and efficiency gains.
- Documentation: Create detailed requirement specifications, user stories, process maps, and wireframes using industry-standard tools.
- Gap Analysis: Perform gap analysis between current state processes and future state requirements to recommend solutions.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as a liaison between technical teams (developers, QA) and business units to ensure alignment on project goals.
- Testing Support: Collaborate with QA teams to develop test plans and scripts, and support UAT (User Acceptance Testing).
- Reporting: Generate and present data-driven insights and reports to senior management to support decision-making.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (equivalent experience considered).
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in a professional setting.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables), and data visualization tools (Power BI or Tableau).
- Methodologies: Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate technical jargon into business language.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot complex business problems.
- Location: Must be willing to work in New Orleans, LA (On-site or Hybrid). Must be authorized to work in the US.
