Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders to understand business needs and goals.
- Analyze current business processes and identify areas for improvement, cost reduction, and increased efficiency.
- Create detailed functional requirements, user stories, and process maps (BPMN, UML) for development teams.
- Facilitate communication between non-technical and technical teams to ensure alignment on project deliverables.
- Perform gap analysis to identify discrepancies between current operations and desired future states.
- Support the Quality Assurance (QA) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phases to ensure solutions meet business requirements.
- Document and maintain project documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) and data dictionaries.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in a corporate or consulting environment.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP), and data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI).
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and Waterfall project management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team-based, fast-paced environment.
