Responsibilities
- Requirements Gathering: Conduct in-depth interviews and workshops with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document detailed business requirements.
- Process Improvement: Evaluate current business processes and identify opportunities for optimization, automation, and efficiency gains.
- Gap Analysis: Perform comprehensive gap analyses between current state and desired future state, creating detailed transition plans.
- Documentation: Create clear, concise, and accurate documentation, including functional specifications, user stories, and process flows using Visio or similar tools.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as a liaison between technical teams (developers, QA) and business units, ensuring alignment on project goals and deliverables.
- Data Analysis: Analyze data sets to identify trends, anomalies, and insights that drive strategic business decisions.
- Testing Support: Collaborate with QA teams to design test plans and validate solutions against documented requirements.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field required.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP), and data visualization tools like Tableau or PowerBI.
- Methodologies: Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall methodologies and experience working within these frameworks.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into plain language.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
- Location: Must be willing to work on-site in Raleigh, North Carolina.
