Responsibilities
- Requirements Gathering: Conduct interviews and workshops with stakeholders to elicit, document, and prioritize detailed business requirements.
- Documentation: Create comprehensive functional specifications, user stories, process maps, and use case diagrams using JIRA and Visio.
- Data Analysis: Analyze data sets to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for process improvement to drive decision-making.
- Stakeholder Communication: Facilitate clear communication between business units, developers, and QA teams to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
- Process Modeling: Design and maintain current and future-state process models to visualize business workflows.
- Testing Support: Collaborate with the QA team to define test cases and validate solutions against business requirements.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience as a Business Analyst in a software development environment.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of SQL, Microsoft Excel (Advanced functions), and data visualization tools such as Tableau or PowerBI.
- Methodologies: Deep understanding of Agile and Waterfall development methodologies.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
