Responsibilities
- Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes with SOX compliance oversight
- Manage GL operations, intercompany reconciliations, and consolidated financial reporting
- Develop and implement internal controls to mitigate financial risks
- Partner with executive team on budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning
- Serve as primary liaison for external audits and regulatory compliance matters
- Optimize accounting processes through system implementations and process improvements
- Mentor and develop accounting staff through performance management and training initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA required
- 10+ years progressive accounting experience with 5+ in corporate controller role
- Expert knowledge of GAAP, SOX compliance, and multi-entity accounting
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (Oracle/SAP) and BI tools (Tableau/Power BI)
- Demonstrated experience managing teams of 5+ accounting professionals
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present to C-suite and board members
- CPA license required; MBA or Master's in Finance preferred
