Responsibilities
- Oversee all accounting operations including month-end close, financial reporting, and budget forecasting
- Develop and implement internal controls to ensure SOX compliance and risk mitigation
- Lead financial audits and coordinate with external auditors for seamless reporting
- Manage accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and treasury functions
- Analyze financial data to provide strategic insights to executive leadership
- Mentor accounting staff and optimize financial systems for efficiency
- Collaborate with department heads to align financial strategies with business objectives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (MBA/CPA preferred)
- Minimum 7+ years progressive accounting experience in corporate settings
- Expertise in financial reporting, GAAP compliance, and audit coordination
- Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
- Proven leadership experience managing accounting teams of 5+ professionals
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present financial strategies to C-suite
- Immediate availability to start within 7-10 days
