Responsibilities
- Oversee all accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and month-end close processes
- Develop and implement financial controls to ensure compliance with SOX regulations and corporate policies
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning initiatives
- Manage relationships with external auditors and financial institutions
- Prepare executive-level financial reports and dashboards for board presentations
- Mentor and develop finance team members through performance management and training programs
- Drive process improvements in financial reporting systems and controls
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (MBA or CPA preferred)
- 10+ years progressive accounting experience with 5+ in corporate leadership
- Demonstrated expertise in SOX compliance and internal controls
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP or Oracle) and financial reporting tools
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights
- Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams through organizational change
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present to executive stakeholders
