Responsibilities
- Oversee all accounting operations including month-end/quarter-end close processes
- Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting initiatives
- Manage compliance with GAAP, SOX, and regulatory requirements
- Direct accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll departments
- Develop and implement financial controls and internal audit procedures
- Prepare executive-level financial reporting packages and board presentations
- Drive process improvements through automation and system optimization
- Mentor and develop high-performing accounting staff
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (MBA preferred)
- CPA certification with 8+ years progressive accounting experience
- 5+ years in corporate controller or senior management role
- Expertise in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and financial reporting tools
- Proven experience with SOX compliance and internal controls
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex financial data
- Excellent leadership and team development capabilities
