Responsibilities
- Oversee all accounting operations including month-end close, financial reporting, and budget management
- Lead a team of 5+ accounting professionals with mentorship and performance development
- Implement and maintain internal controls to ensure compliance with SOX regulations
- Collaborate with executive team on strategic financial planning and analysis
- Manage banking relationships and optimize cash flow operations
- Drive process improvements in accounting systems and workflows
- Prepare executive-level financial presentations for board meetings
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance; CPA or MBA strongly preferred
- 7+ years progressive accounting experience with 3+ in corporate controller role
- Demonstrated expertise in SOX compliance and internal controls
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software (NetSuite, Oracle, or SAP)
- Strong leadership skills managing cross-functional teams
- Experience in public accounting or corporate finance environment
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
