Responsibilities
- Analyze financial data to create accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual reports
- Develop and maintain financial models for forecasting and budgeting processes
- Collaborate with department heads to prepare variance analyses and performance metrics
- Support audit preparation by gathering documentation and reconciling accounts
- Identify trends and opportunities for cost optimization and revenue growth
- Assist in the preparation of executive presentations and board materials
- Maintain compliance with GAAP and internal financial policies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 0-2 years of relevant internship or work experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, complex formulas)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines
- Basic knowledge of financial reporting standards (GAAP)
- Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite preferred)
