Responsibilities
- Oversee all accounting operations including GL, AP, AR, and month-end/quarter-end close processes
- Develop and implement financial controls, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with GAAP and SOX
- Lead financial forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis for corporate divisions
- Manage relationships with external auditors and regulatory bodies
- Drive process improvements and automation initiatives in financial systems
- Prepare executive-level financial reports and board presentations
- Lead a team of 5+ accounting professionals
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance; MBA or CPA preferred
- 8+ years progressive accounting experience with 3+ years in controller role
- Strong expertise in GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting standards
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP or Oracle) and financial software
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive process improvements
- Experience in corporate finance with multi-entity reporting
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Strong communication and leadership abilities
