Responsibilities
- Oversee all accounting operations including month-end closing, financial reporting, and budget forecasting
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX, and regulatory requirements
- Lead financial audits and implement internal controls
- Develop and maintain financial models for strategic decision-making
- Manage accounts payable, receivable, and payroll processes
- Collaborate with executive team on financial strategy and growth initiatives
- Mentor finance team members and optimize department workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (MBA/CPA preferred)
- 8+ years progressive accounting experience with 3+ in leadership
- Expert knowledge of GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting standards
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Proven track record of process improvement and team leadership
