Responsibilities
- Oversee all accounting operations including month-end closing, financial reporting, and audit preparation
- Develop and implement financial controls to ensure SOX compliance and risk mitigation
- Lead budgeting and forecasting processes with executive stakeholders
- Manage treasury operations including cash flow management and banking relationships
- Drive process improvements through automation and system optimization
- Lead a team of 5+ finance professionals through mentorship and performance management
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments on strategic financial initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (MBA/CMA/CPA strongly preferred)
- 8+ years progressive accounting experience with 3+ in leadership
- Proven expertise in SOX compliance and internal controls
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and Microsoft Excel
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance and regulatory reporting
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex financial operations in corporate settings
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
