Responsibilities
- Oversee all accounting operations including month-end/year-end closes
- Lead financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and payroll systems
- Develop internal controls and ensure SOX compliance
- Analyze financial data and provide strategic insights to executive leadership
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax authorities
- Mentor accounting staff and optimize financial workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (MBA/CPA preferred)
- 8+ years in corporate accounting with 3+ in leadership
- Expertise in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and financial software
- Proven experience with multi-state tax compliance
- Strong analytical skills and strategic financial planning ability
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Texas CPA license required
- Experience in weekly payroll environments preferred
