Responsibilities
- Provide tier-2 and tier-3 technical support via ticketing systems (ServiceNow/Zendesk) and remote access tools.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues, including troubleshooting desktops, laptops, printers, and network connectivity.
- Manage and maintain local area networks (LAN), ensuring optimal performance and uptime for 24/7 corporate operations.
- Implement and monitor IT security protocols, including antivirus updates, patch management, and access control during off-hours.
- Document all incident resolutions, system configurations, and standard operating procedures in our knowledge base.
- Perform regular system backups, server maintenance, and hardware upgrades.
- Collaborate with the day-shift team to transfer critical knowledge and ensure smooth handovers.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent technical certification (e.g., CompTIA A+ or Network+).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a corporate IT support or help desk environment.
- Strong proficiency in Windows 10/11, Microsoft Office Suite, and Active Directory.
- Experience with remote support tools (e.g., TeamViewer, LogMeIn, or similar).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical staff.
- Ability to work independently during the night shift with minimal supervision.
