Responsibilities
- Analyze financial data to create accurate forecasting models and reports
- Assist in developing departmental budgets and quarterly financial projections
- Prepare monthly variance analysis reports comparing actual vs. budgeted performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic business initiatives
- Maintain and improve financial databases using Excel and ERP systems
- Participate in quarterly business reviews and executive presentations
- Support internal audits and compliance documentation processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration
- 0-2 years of experience (internships or relevant coursework acceptable)
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, macros)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced corporate environment
- Basic knowledge of financial accounting principles (GAAP)
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) preferred
