Responsibilities
- Requirements Gathering: Conduct in-depth interviews and workshops with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, document, and validate detailed business requirements.
- Process Improvement: Analyze current business processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies, then design and document optimized future state solutions.
- Data Analysis: Leverage SQL and Excel to analyze complex datasets, uncover trends, and provide data-driven insights to support decision-making.
- Documentation: Create clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation, including user stories, use cases, functional specifications, and process maps.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary liaison between business units, product management, and the development team to ensure alignment and successful project delivery.
- Testing & QA: Collaborate with QA teams to develop test plans and ensure solutions meet defined requirements and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience as a Business Analyst in a corporate or technology environment.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of SQL and advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP). Familiarity with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) is highly desirable.
- Methodologies: Solid understanding of Agile and Waterfall software development methodologies.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, non-technical language.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Certifications: PMP, CBAP, or PMI-ACP certification is a plus.
