Responsibilities
- Direct and mentor 15+ night shift employees, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability
- Optimize inventory management and order fulfillment processes using Oracle WMS
- Enforce OSHA compliance and implement continuous safety improvement protocols
- Coordinate cross-functional teams for seamless handoffs between shifts
- Analyze operational KPIs (productivity, accuracy, on-time delivery) and implement corrective actions
- Manage equipment maintenance schedules and troubleshoot operational bottlenecks
- Develop and execute contingency plans for emergency scenarios
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, or related field
- 5+ years warehouse management experience with 2+ years in night shift leadership
- Advanced proficiency in WMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or Manhattan Active)
- OSHA 30-hour certification and Forklift Operator certification
- Strong data analysis skills with ability to interpret complex metrics
- Exceptional conflict resolution and team development abilities
- Proven experience managing unionized workforce (preferred)
- Ability to work independently and make critical decisions under pressure
