Responsibilities
- Oversee 24/7 IT infrastructure monitoring, incident response, and system maintenance during night shift operations
- Lead cross-functional teams in resolving critical outages with SLA compliance and root cause analysis
- Implement automation scripts for cloud environments (AWS/Azure) and container orchestration
- Coordinate with global teams for seamless handover during shift transitions
- Develop disaster recovery plans and conduct quarterly failover testing
- Mentor junior technicians and implement continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in IT operations with 2+ years night shift leadership experience
- Expertise in enterprise monitoring tools (Splunk, Nagios) and cloud platforms
- CompTIA Security+ or AWS Certified Solutions Architect certification preferred
- Proven track record in managing high-pressure outage scenarios
- Strong knowledge of ITIL framework and change management processes
- Excellent communication skills for global stakeholder collaboration
