Responsibilities
- Oversee 24/7 warehouse operations during night shift, ensuring safety compliance and productivity targets
- Manage team of 15+ associates, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations
- Implement lean methodologies to optimize inventory management and order fulfillment
- Coordinate cross-functional communication with day shift teams and corporate stakeholders
- Resolve operational escalations and implement corrective actions for process bottlenecks
- Monitor KPIs including order accuracy, picking speed, and dock-to-stock time
- Conduct regular safety audits and maintain OSHA compliance documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, or related field
- 3+ years warehouse/supervisory experience with night shift management
- Strong proficiency in WMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or Manhattan preferred)
- OSHA 30-hour certification and Forklift Operator certification
- Proven track record in process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma)
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to make data-driven decisions
- Excellent leadership abilities with experience in team development
- Ability to work flexible hours and occasional weekends for operational needs
