Responsibilities
- Oversee nightly warehouse operations including receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment
- Lead and mentor a team of 15+ night shift associates through performance coaching and scheduling
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs
- Ensure strict compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety protocols
- Collaborate with day shift managers to maintain operational continuity and resolve cross-functional issues
- Generate and analyze operational reports to identify trends and recommend actionable solutions
- Manage inventory control systems and conduct cycle counts with 99.5% accuracy
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in warehouse/distribution operations with 2+ years in leadership
- Proven track record of improving KPIs (OTIF, inventory accuracy, labor efficiency)
- Strong knowledge of WMS systems and logistics software (SAP, Oracle preferred)
- OSHA 30 certification or equivalent safety management training
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with data-driven decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication skills with experience managing diverse teams
- Availability to work 10-hour night shifts (6 PM - 4 AM) with flexible weekends
