Responsibilities
- Manage 50+ night shift personnel including scheduling, training, and performance optimization
- Oversee inbound/outbound logistics, inventory control, and order fulfillment processes
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives using Six Sigma and Kaizen principles
- Ensure regulatory compliance through rigorous safety audits and documentation
- Collaborate with day-shift managers to maintain operational continuity
- Monitor KPIs including order accuracy, on-time delivery, and labor productivity
- Lead crisis management during operational disruptions or emergencies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, or related field
- 5+ years warehouse/operations experience with 2+ years in supervisory roles
- OSHA 30-hour certification and CPR/First Aid training required
- Proficiency in WMS systems (SAP, Oracle, Manhattan preferred)
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven decision making
- Proven leadership in union/non-union environments
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends during peak seasons
