Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders to define clear business needs and functional specifications.
- Analyze current business processes to identify inefficiencies and recommend data-driven solutions for optimization.
- Develop detailed process maps, user stories, and use case diagrams to guide development teams.
- Collaborate closely with IT developers, QA engineers, and product managers to ensure accurate implementation of requirements.
- Document and maintain accurate version histories for all project deliverables and specifications.
- Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) and create training materials for end-users.
- Monitor project milestones and provide progress reports to senior leadership.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent relevant experience).
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience as a Business Analyst.
- Strong proficiency in data analysis tools, including SQL, Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP), and Tableau or Power BI.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate technical jargon into business language.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines within a part-time framework.
- Familiarity with Agile or Waterfall project management methodologies is highly preferred.
