Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders to identify business needs and document detailed functional specifications.
- Analyze current business processes and recommend solutions to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance productivity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, QA, and product managers, to ensure the successful delivery of IT projects.
- Create wireframes, process flows, and user stories using industry-standard tools such as JIRA and Visio.
- Perform gap analysis between current business operations and proposed system changes.
- Maintain a repository of business requirements and update stakeholders on project progress.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a related analytical role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or equivalent work experience.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.).
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management tools (JIRA, Confluence).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate technical jargon into business value.
- Must be available for part-time hours (approx. 20-25 hours per week).
