Responsibilities
- Analyze complex business requirements and translate them into clear, actionable technical specifications for the development team.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to identify inefficiencies and propose process improvements.
- Conduct comprehensive data analysis using SQL and Excel to support strategic decision-making and reporting.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation, including Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Use Cases, and Functional Specifications.
- Facilitate requirements gathering sessions and workshops to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
- Monitor project milestones and risks, providing timely updates to project managers and senior leadership.
- Act as a liaison between technical teams and non-technical business units to ensure mutual understanding.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience.
- 2+ years of professional experience as a Business Analyst or similar analytical role.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and advanced Excel functions (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or PowerBI is highly preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Familiarity with Agile and Scrum development methodologies.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities within a part-time schedule.
