The Role
As a Business Analyst, you will act as the liaison between business stakeholders and the development team, translating complex requirements into actionable technical specifications. You will play a pivotal role in our product lifecycle, from initial discovery to final deployment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive stakeholder interviews and workshops to gather detailed business requirements and functional specifications.
- Design and document clear process flows, use cases, user stories, and wireframes using industry-standard tools.
- Analyze existing business processes to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for digital transformation.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (IT, Operations, Product Management) to ensure project alignment and successful delivery.
- Prepare and present high-quality reports, data visualizations, and executive summaries to drive decision-making.
- Maintain accurate documentation to support knowledge transfer and system maintenance.
- Assist in the testing and quality assurance phases to ensure deliverables meet business needs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field (equivalent experience accepted).
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience in business analysis, requirements gathering, or a related analytical role.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP), SQL, and/or Tableau/Power BI.
- Strong understanding of Agile and Waterfall methodologies and SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate technical jargon for non-technical audiences.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
- Experience with project management tools such as JIRA or Confluence is highly preferred.
