As a Project Manager, you will serve as the bridge between technical teams and stakeholders, ensuring that project timelines, budgets, and scope are met efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Lead Project Lifecycle: Oversee the entire project lifecycle, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Resource Management: Allocate resources effectively, manage cross-functional teams, and ensure that team members have the tools and support needed to succeed.
- Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders, providing clear updates, managing expectations, and fostering strong relationships.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to prevent project delays or budget overruns.
- Agile & Waterfall: Utilize Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies to manage software development and IT infrastructure projects.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field required; PMP or CAPM certification is a major plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, preferably within the tech or software industry.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in project management tools such as JIRA, Asana, Microsoft Project, and Confluence.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
- Location: Must be willing to work on-site in San Jose, CA.
