Responsibilities
- Requirements Elicitation: Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, and surveys to gather, analyze, and document detailed business requirements.
- Process Mapping: Create process maps, flowcharts, and wireframes using Visio or Lucidchart to visualize current and future state processes.
- Gap Analysis: Perform comprehensive gap analysis to identify discrepancies between business processes and system capabilities.
- Documentation: Develop detailed functional specifications, user stories, and test plans to guide the development team.
- Data Analysis: Leverage SQL and Excel to analyze data trends and provide data-driven recommendations to stakeholders.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for business stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and managing expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in a corporate setting.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong command of SQL and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Methodology: Experience working within Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate technical jargon for non-technical audiences.
- Tools: Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, or similar requirement management tools.
