Responsibilities
- Translate complex business requirements into actionable technical specifications and user stories
- Conduct stakeholder interviews and workshops to gather, document, and prioritize requirements
- Perform gap analysis and process optimization using BPMN and flowcharting tools
- Develop and maintain data models, dashboards, and KPI tracking systems
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, retrospectives) and collaborate with Scrum teams
- Create comprehensive test cases and validate solution efficacy through UAT
- Present findings to executive stakeholders through compelling data visualizations
- Mentor junior analysts and establish best practices for requirement documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of business analysis experience in software development or SaaS environments
- Expert proficiency in SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI)
- Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or PMI-PMP designation required
- Proven experience documenting requirements using UML, Use Cases, and User Stories
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and JIRA workflows
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating successful process improvement initiatives
