Responsibilities
- Analyze complex business processes and requirements for federal agency clients
- Develop detailed functional specifications and process documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope and deliverables
- Translate business needs into technical requirements for development teams
- Facilitate stakeholder workshops and present findings to executive leadership
- Conduct gap analysis and recommend process optimization strategies
- Support UAT and implementation of new systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of business analysis experience with federal government projects
- Expertise in requirements gathering and documentation (JAD, user stories)
- Proficiency in BPMN, UML, and process modeling tools (Visio, Lucidchart)
- Strong SQL skills and data analysis experience
- PMP or CBAP certification highly desirable
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Ability to manage multiple urgent priorities in a regulated environment
