Responsibilities
- Translate complex business requirements into actionable technical specifications and user stories
- Conduct stakeholder interviews and workshops to identify pain points and process improvement opportunities
- Develop detailed process flows, data models, and documentation using BPMN and UML
- Analyze large datasets using SQL and BI tools to uncover actionable insights
- Validate solutions through testing protocols and ensure alignment with business objectives
- Present findings to executive leadership through compelling visualizations and reports
- Lead Agile ceremonies and maintain product backlogs with clear prioritization
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Data Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of business analysis experience in government/public sector or regulated industries
- Expert proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and BI tools (Tableau/Power BI)
- Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or PMI-PMP designation
- Deep understanding of federal compliance frameworks (FISMA, FedRAMP)
- Exceptional stakeholder management and executive communication skills
- Proven experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and JIRA/Confluence
