Responsibilities
- Conduct stakeholder interviews to elicit business requirements and document functional specifications
- Analyze data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for process optimization
- Create detailed process flows, user stories, and acceptance criteria for development teams
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, retrospectives) and ensure backlog grooming
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement solutions that align with business goals
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation including BRDs, UML diagrams, and test plans
- Monitor solution performance and recommend continuous improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in technology-driven environments
- Expertise in Agile/Scrum methodologies and requirement elicitation techniques
- Proficiency in SQL, data visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI), and process modeling tools
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate complex concepts into clear documentation
- Experience with financial systems and regulatory compliance (SOX, GDPR)
- Certification (CBAP, PMI-PBA) or equivalent practical experience
- Exceptional communication skills with proven ability to influence stakeholders
