Responsibilities
- Requirements Gathering: Conduct in-depth interviews and workshops with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, document, and validate business requirements.
- Process Modeling: Create detailed process maps, flowcharts, and use-case diagrams using tools like Visio or Lucidchart.
- Data Analysis: Analyze current business processes and data flows to identify inefficiencies and recommend optimization strategies.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as the liaison between technical teams (developers, QA) and business units to ensure clear communication and alignment.
- Documentation: Produce high-quality specifications, user stories, and technical documentation that serve as the blueprint for solution delivery.
- Project Support: Assist project managers in tracking project milestones and ensuring deliverables meet quality standards.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in a corporate environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, or MySQL).
- Methodology: Strong understanding of Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Tools: Hands-on experience with JIRA, Confluence, and requirements management tools (e.g., IBM DOORS, Polarion).
- Soft Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate technical jargon into business value.
