The Opportunity
We're seeking a Senior Business Analyst to bridge the gap between complex financial systems and strategic business objectives. This hybrid role offers the flexibility to work 3 days in our Manhattan office while driving impactful change remotely.
Responsibilities
- Translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications for development teams
- Conduct stakeholder interviews and workshops across finance, product, and engineering departments
- Analyze transactional data to identify process inefficiencies and optimization opportunities
- Create and maintain process flows, data models, and user documentation
- Collaborate with UX designers to ensure seamless customer experiences
- Lead UAT cycles and validate solution effectiveness against KPIs
- Present findings to C-suite executives through compelling visualizations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in financial services
- Expertise in SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI)
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and JIRA
- Certification in CBAP, PMI-PBA, or equivalent preferred
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts
- Proven track record of delivering projects in regulated environments
- Experience with payment systems or fintech platforms highly valued
