Responsibilities
- Requirements Gathering: Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, and requirements analysis to define clear business needs and success metrics.
- Data Analysis: Utilize SQL and data visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI) to analyze complex data sets, identify trends, and generate actionable insights.
- Process Improvement: Design and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and increase revenue.
- Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation including Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Specifications, and UI/UX mockups.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary liaison between technical teams, product owners, and business units to ensure alignment and successful project delivery.
- Agile Leadership: Facilitate sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives within an Agile/Scrum environment.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience: 3-5+ years of professional experience as a Business Analyst or similar role in a technology or data-driven environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (writing and querying), experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or Looker), and strong Excel skills.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to translate technical jargon into business value for non-technical stakeholders.
- Methodology: Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and Waterfall processes.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex business problems and propose effective solutions.
