In this position, you will act as the primary point of contact for gathering and documenting business requirements. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify process improvements and ensure the successful delivery of software solutions. Responsibilities
- Requirements Gathering: Conduct comprehensive interviews and workshops to elicit, analyze, document, and validate business requirements.
- Process Mapping: Create detailed process maps and workflow diagrams to visualize current and future state processes using tools like Visio or Lucidchart.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with product managers, developers, and clients to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
- Gap Analysis: Identify gaps between business needs and current capabilities, proposing solutions to bridge those gaps.
- Documentation: Maintain clear, concise, and up-to-date documentation including user stories, functional specifications, and test plans.
- Agile Support: Participate in sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups to support Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience: 3+ years of proven experience as a Business Analyst in a corporate environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Excel (Advanced), and data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI). Experience with JIRA or Confluence is highly preferred.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate technical jargon into business language.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot complex business issues.
- Tools: Familiarity with requirement management tools (e.g., IBM Rational DOORS, Jama Connect).
