Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth interviews and workshops to gather, document, and analyze business requirements and stakeholder needs.
- Translate complex business requirements into clear, concise functional specifications and user stories for the development team.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Perform gap analysis to identify discrepancies between current processes and desired future states.
- Collaborate with technical teams to design solutions that optimize business operations and improve user experience.
- Monitor project metrics and provide regular status reports to senior leadership and clients.
- Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4-6 years of experience as a Business Analyst within the government or consulting sector.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Excel (advanced), and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI).
- Experience working with SDLC methodologies, specifically Agile and Scrum frameworks.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex information to diverse audiences.
- Prior experience with government contracting (e.g., Federal, DoD) is highly preferred.
- Proven track record of managing stakeholder expectations and delivering projects on time and within scope.
