Responsibilities
- Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to elicit, analyze, document, and validate business requirements for software solutions.
- Data Analysis: Utilize SQL and data warehousing tools to extract, clean, and analyze large datasets to support decision-making processes.
- Process Improvement: Map current business processes and design future state workflows to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs.
- Documentation: Create detailed user stories, process diagrams, and functional specifications to guide development teams.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as a liaison between technical teams and business units, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project goals.
- Reporting: Generate and present regular performance reports to leadership, highlighting key metrics and project status.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with specific experience in weekend shift or 24/7 support environments.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Excel (Advanced), and data visualization tools (Tableau or Power BI).
- Methodology: Solid understanding of Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall project management methodologies.
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate technical jargon into business value.
