Responsibilities
- Oversee all accounting operations including month-end close, financial reporting, and budgeting
- Develop and implement internal controls to ensure SOX compliance and financial accuracy
- Lead financial audits and coordinate with external auditors
- Analyze financial data to provide strategic insights to executive leadership
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and payroll processing teams
- Optimize cash flow and treasury management processes
- Drive process improvements through automation and technology solutions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA required)
- 8+ years progressive accounting experience with 3+ in corporate controller role
- Expertise in GAAP, SOX compliance, and multi-state tax regulations
- Advanced proficiency in financial systems (Oracle NetSuite, SAP)
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing finance teams of 5+
- Proven ability to improve financial processes and controls
- Experience in publicly traded companies or multinational corporations
