Responsibilities
- Lead M&A transactions, joint ventures, and strategic partnerships with $50M+ deal values
- Advise on corporate governance, SEC filings, and board-level compliance matters
- Develop and implement intellectual property protection strategies for proprietary technologies
- Manage regulatory compliance across federal and state jurisdictions with focus on tech sector regulations
- Oversee contract lifecycle management for vendor agreements, licensing, and customer engagements
- Direct legal risk assessment for new market expansions and product launches
- Mentor junior legal team members and optimize department workflows
Qualifications
- Juris Doctorate degree from ABA-accredited institution with 8+ years corporate law experience
- Texas State Bar membership in good standing with active corporate law credentials
- Proven track record leading complex M&A transactions in technology or SaaS sectors
- Deep expertise in SEC regulations, corporate governance, and contract law
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate legal concepts into business strategies
- Exceptional negotiation skills with experience in multi-party agreements
- Proficiency in legal tech platforms and contract management systems
