Responsibilities
- Advise executive leadership on corporate governance, M&A transactions, and compliance matters
- Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies for international operations
- Lead contract negotiations with Fortune 500 partners and vendors
- Manage intellectual property portfolios and trademark enforcement
- Oversee litigation management and regulatory reporting
- Train internal stakeholders on evolving legal frameworks
- Drive diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives within legal operations
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) from ABA-accredited law school
- 10+ years of corporate counsel experience with Texas-based companies
- Active Texas State Bar membership in good standing
- Proven expertise in SEC reporting and corporate governance
- Experience managing cross-border transactions and international compliance
- Strong negotiation skills with documented $50M+ deal experience
- Advanced proficiency in legal tech platforms (e.g., Onit, Litera)
